I Miss You

I Miss You

I miss you, you know who you are
The other half of my conversation
The reason behind my smile
I know why you had to leave,
but it doesn't stop me from looking for you
Everytime someone says something funny (or stupid :P)
I turn to tell you, but talk to thin air
I wish I could set your radio
so you could hear the songs I want to sing to you
I pick up the phone
even though you aren't on the other end
I can pretend.

Heidi, I've been so out of touch with you! I love your blog though. You need to update more now that I'm looking. Didn't you know it's always all about me? You should get past those fears and write, lady. You're good at it. Anyway, I'm moving to St. George, and I just learned you've moved to Mesquite, darn you! Also, Deb delivered more wonderful little treasures from another one of your world travels (I think San Francisco this time). Anyway, I love the dragons! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Love you even though I haven't seen you in an age. I'm hoping maybe I can see you more when I live in St. George. Hey, this comment is too long, but it's been forever since we've talked. What larks!

That was really beautiful - you have a way with words -- Anyhow -- I haven't seen you in ages -- I found you on Debra's blog. How are you? Do you still live around St. George? I am in Provo -- but I do come down that way often to see family-- anyhow I'd love to see you sometime. Rachel Cornwell-Doyle
